Position: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical assisting and be able to support the delivery of exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Duties:

Provide medical assistance to patients in an inpatient and outpatient setting, including taking vital signs, diagnostic testing and preparing patients for exams.
Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms, obtaining medical histories, and administering injections.
Utilize anatomy and physiology knowledge to perform routine medical procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documenting medical histories and test results.
Function as a liaison between the medical team and patients, ensuring clear communication and patient satisfaction.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements:

Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA).
Completion of a medical assisting program or associate's degree in a related field.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, including the ability to perform routine medical procedures and assist with surgeries.
Experience working in a Medical office (PCP)
Ability to take vital signs and input into EMR system.
Excellent communication, dependable transportation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment and prioritize patient care and safety in high-pressure situations.

Pay: $15.47 - $16.08 per hour
