LPN HCH Primary Care Per Diem

The LPN/MA in HCH Primary Care will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to rooming patients, completing assessments, computerized documentation, completing prior authorizations for medications, taking orders from the providers, and making follow-up phone calls as appropriate. The LPN/MA will assist with in-office procedures, administer injections as ordered, and conduct point of care testing.

A Licensed Practical Nurse performs a wide variety of patient care activities and comfort measures for assigned hospital patients in the acute, ambulatory and school nurse settings. This position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice and for managing supplies and equipment with the direction of the provider, department manager or RN in charge. The LPN will promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. The LPN will follow orders for care and treatment of the patient and will adhere to the policies and procedures of Henry County Hospital.

BLS, Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses and currently licensed in the State of Ohio are all requirements.
