Job Description:

Soliant Education is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled School Nurse (RN) to join our team in Burien, WA. As a School Nurse, you will play a critical role in promoting the health and well-being of students, ensuring they are healthy, safe, and ready to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students, including administering medications, managing chronic conditions, and responding to medical emergencies.
Conduct health assessments, screenings, and health education sessions for students and staff.
Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to support student health and safety.
Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
Promote a healthy school environment by educating the school community on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations within the school setting.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Previous experience in a school setting or working with children is highly preferred.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Passion for promoting student health and well-being.
