ChristianaCare Supportive & Palliative Care at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant.

ChristianaCare Supportive & Palliative Care team located at 4701 Ogletown Stanton Rd, Suite 2200, Newark, DE provides comfort to our patients with advanced chronic and serious illness, and to their families. The team seeks to address our patients fears and anxieties, lessen their pain and symptoms, and improve their quality of life. We emphasize communication, continuity, and coordination of care. ChristianaCare Supportive & Palliative Care can even help our patients make decisions about their medical care, including recommendations for medication and referrals as needed.

As a medical assistant, you will be responsible for assisting providers in the examination and treatment of patients with on-site and virtual appointments. You will be expected to deliver quality patient care and perform other clinical and clerical duties within the practice as assigned.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm

Education Requirements:

High School Graduate or GED required.
A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
