Job Opportunity: Certified School Nurse (CSN) – Scenery Hill, Pennsylvania

Position: Full-Time Certified School Nurse (CSN)

Contract Dates: August 20, 2024 - January 20, 2025

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM (Paid 40-minute lunch break)

Work Environment: Health Room, Middle School/High School (Grades 6-12)

Overview: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and professional Certified School Nurse (CSN) for a full-time position in Scenery Hill, Pennsylvania. This role is scheduled to start on August 20, 2024, and end on January 20, 2025. The CSN will work in the health room at a combined middle and high school, providing essential health services and support to students in grades 6 through 12.

Key Responsibilities:

Health Room Management: Oversee and manage the health room, ensuring students receive appropriate care and medical attention.
Student Care: Provide nursing services, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency response.
Health Records: Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and school health policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and well-being.

Requirements:

Certification: Must be a Certified School Nurse (CSN) in Pennsylvania.
Experience: Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility: Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to health-related issues efficiently.
