Position Summary:

The intake RN Gero Psych utilizes data about the healthcare status of the patient/family in a systematic way to assist intake team in determining the need and type of care and treatment most appropriate for the patient. Coordinates and evaluates all pertinent resources existing to expedite the patient's return to baseline functioning through appropriate treatment intervention. Successfully implements interventions as needed to assist patients in crisis. Collaborates and communicates effectively with patients, families and treatment team members to facilitate maximum client outcomes. Ability to understand level of care assessments and recommendations in order to successfully complete prior authorization with payors.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED
Licensed RN in the State of Arizona
Fingerprint Clearance Card
3 years experience

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years of experience
