What We Look For:

We are seeking individuals who are committed, compassionate, and ready to make a positive impact. Our ideal candidates will have:

Live in Sugar Land or willing to commute to the area (zip codes 77478 and 77479)
Must speak English; fluency in Gujarati or Hindi is preferred
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
The ability to pass a background check and drug test
A positive and compassionate attitude
Demonstrated compassion and empathy for others
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide companionship and reliable and trustworthy care
Dementia care training preferred, but not required

Your Responsibilities:

As an in-home caregiver at A Place at Home - Sugar Land, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients
Offering emotional support and personalized companionship to clients
Assist with game play, stimulating mental awareness, accompany to appointments and errands
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Assisting clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, if needed
Preparing meals according to dietary restrictions
Providing medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
