Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center is a 119-bed acute care hospital, Certified Primary Stroke Center and Level III Trauma Center. Named one of Healthgrades 2022 America's 250 Best Hospitals and a Top Hospital by Georgia Trend magazine in 2022, Piedmont Cartersville’s Knee and Hip Replacement and Maternity services are designated as Blue Distinction Centers by Blue Cross Blue Shield. The Breast Imaging Center at The Women's Center provides mammography services that are gold seal accredited by the American College of Radiology. The Advanced Wound Healing Center provides specialized treatment for chronic or non-healing wounds. The Hope Center, a regional cancer treatment facility, is conveniently located on the hospital campus and provides over 3,000 treatments with over 200 new patients per year from a ten-county region.

Staff RN Full-time Nights Medical Surgical Unit - $10K Sign-on Bonus

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of a nursing program

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

New Graduates of a nursing program eligible

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
