Job Description

DaVita is seeking a Hospital Registered Nurse who is looking to give life in a hospital setting. You can make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. Do you desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way - the way you'd want your own care to be? We do train!

Hospitals the nurse will support:

Putnam Hospital, Carmel, NY

Northern Westchester Hospital, Mt Kisco, NY

Danbury CT. Hospital, Danbury CT

Some details about this position:

1 year plus on the job Registered Nurse Experience (new graduates are not eligible for this location)

3 days a week (more details during phone chat)

6-7 am is a typical start time

No Dialysis experience is required (we will train) 3 months on the job.

Schedule days vary - (scheduled 4 weeks in advance) days - Mon- Saturday (every other Saturday)

Some on call is required.

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, if this is a multiple state region we are willing to start training prior to your getting the alternate licensure. This CT and NY
Associate degree in nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
We are unable to hire a new graduate RN in this program, while we do often in others.
We DO NOT require you to have any specific hospital experience. Just your BSN or ASN and nursing license.

You will gain exposure in many areas of the hospital:

ICU
Critical Care
Emergency (ER)
Med/Surgical
Skilled Nursing Care
And many other areas of nursing

Salary/ Wage Range

$46.00 - $63.00 / hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
