Overview
The Clinic LPN is responsible for providing population specific care within the outpatient setting. Performs a broad range of nursing, office, and laboratory duties to provide exceptional health and wellness services to those from birth to 105 years of age.
The Clinic LPN reports directly to the Director of Clinic Operations.
Responsibilities
1. Take vital signs, obtain medical history, gives injections and immunizations as ordered by the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, and/or Mid-wife.
2. Maintain current licensure and proficiencies.
3. Maintain required logs and information needed for reports.
4. Maintain high level of confidentiality.
5. Other duties as requested by Physician, APN, and/or Mid-wife.
Qualifications
1. Education:a.) Graduate of an approved Practical School of Nursing. 2. Licensure/Certification:a.) Current licensure by Missouri State Board of Nursing or compact state. b.) BLS certification required within 6 months of employment.
3. Work Experience:a.) Successful completion of orientation for LPN
