Hourly Wage
39.00 - 68.50 USD

SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS:

Shift Differentials:
- Evening$3.00/hour
- Night $5.00/hour

Premiums:
- Weekend Premium$4.50/hour
- Standby Premium$4.00/hour
- Charge Premium$3.25/hour
- Float/PM Premium$2.50/hour
- Per Diem Premium15% (on rate of pay, in lieu of benefits)
- Certification Premium$2.00/hour

JOB SUMMARY:
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of Cancer Center infusion services and chemotherapy patients. Provides the care needed as described in the department policies and procedures. Demonstrates the values contained in the Cancer Center and Olympic Medical Center (OMC) mission and philosophy statements. Participates in patient and family education. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the out-patient clinical setting. Expected to participate on a rotational basis in low census in the event Sequim cancer services patient census dictates. May perform emergency care.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
Experience
• Minimum of two years’ experience in an inpatient or ambulatory medical clinic required.
• Oncology chemotherapy/immunotherapy experience preferred.
Licensure/Credentials
• Current Washington State Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• OCN certification within 3 years of hire strongly preferred. If not OCN certified, must complete 12 oncology-based CEs annually or total of 36 in a 3-year period.

- Full-time Employee Holidays – 7 fixed holidays and 3 Floating holidays. Floating holidays are allotted annually on anniversary date or date specified by contract.
- Part-time Employee Holidays – Part time holiday bank (equivalent to 10 days per year for a full-time employee); use by request or receive payout of 8 hours upon reaching 24 hours in bank.
- Vacation – Beginning accrual equivalent to 12 days per year for a full-time employee. Pro-rated for part-time employees. Employees may begin using vacation after completing 1040 benefit hours. Accrual rate increases with years of service. Refer to your Labor Agreement for details.
- Short Term Disability (STD) – Partial wage replacement for your own disability, or in some cases for the care of a disabled family member. This plan is available at no cost to the employee.
