Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for a part-time Medical Assistant to join our experienced Greenfield Family Medicine team in Greenfield, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Baystate Health, Medical Assistants perform an important role providing care to our patients. They take vital signs, perform patient intake and history, clinical orders, procedures, documentation and patient discharge. Our supportive work environment allows you to provide optimal patient care.

SCHEDULE:

Part-time, 20 hours a week
Mondays & Wednesdays 12:30pm-5:30pm, Fridays 7:00am-5:30pm
NO weekends, NO holidays

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or GED
CPR-Basic Life Support of Healthcare Provider required from the American Heart Association
Must be ONE of the following:

· Certified through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

· A Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Registered as an American Medical Technologist (AMT)

· Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Association

OUR COMPENSATION PHILOSOPHY

The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.

Education:

GED or HiSET (Required)

Certifications:

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, Certified Medical Assistant - Other, Credentialing must be awarded by a third-party credentialing body which can be obtained through: 1. Registered through Medical Assistant (ARMA) - (Minimum Requirement); 2. Registered through American Medical Technologist (AMT) association; or 3. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Association (NHA); or American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); or 4. Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). - Credentialing must be awarded by a third-party credentialing body which can be obtained through: 1.
