Job Description

MSKCC is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of 2024 New Grad Clinical Nurse. As a world-class healthcare institution, we are dedicated to providing flawless care and advancing the field of cancer treatment. This is an ambitious opportunity for new graduates to join our renowned team and contribute to our mission of ending cancer for life.

Role Overview:

Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs and symptoms within designated inpatient specialities such as but not limited to BMT, Hematology services, Head and Neck, Neuro/Ortho and other various med/surg and/or telemetry units available
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide patient education and support
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program preferred
New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that maintain high standards of nursing care within the organization.

Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Additional Information:

Location: 1275 York Avenue, NY, NY 10065
Schedule: Full-time 12 hour shifts 7PM-7:30AM with weekend and holiday rotation required

Pay Range: $117,00.00 - $145,450.00.
