Job Overview

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated RN for our SDS at Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Qualifications

Required:

RN Degree
NJ RN License
Critical Care experience
BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association)

Preferred

PALS within 6 months
BSN

Scheduling Requirements

Day Shift 9a-7:30p 4 days/week

On Call rotation after Orientation, minimum of 3 shifts/month

Monday-Friday-No weekends or Holiday

Will be Cross Trained to Other Peri-OP Units

Essential Functions

The RN is a direct patient caregiver for our Pre Op patients and Moderate Sedation patients
Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service
Ongoing communication & education with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient s care
Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning
