What it takes to become a MDS Coordinator (RN) with Care Initiatives:

Valid RN license in good standing. License must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate.
Current, valid CPR Certification.
MDS credentialed or willingness to obtain RAC-CT certification.
Familiarity with MDS 3.0/RAI Manual and work experience in long-term care and gerontological nursing are highly preferred.
Candidate will work 24 hours as MDS and 16 hours charge nurse per week.There will be weekend hours either on call or floor time.
