Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Trainer

Employment Type: Part-Time/Contract

Location: CareSphere HC

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive, hands-on training for Home Health Aides (HHAs). This 16-hour training session is designed to equip HHAs with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality home care services. The RN Trainer will play a crucial role in enhancing the competence and confidence of our HHAs through practical, real-world training.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Preparation:
- Develop a detailed training curriculum and schedule.
- Prepare training materials, demonstrations, and practical scenarios.
Conducting Training:
- Provide hands-on training sessions covering essential HHA skills, including but not limited to:
  - Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
  - Vital signs monitoring
  - Infection control practices
  - Safe transferring and mobility techniques
  - Medication assistance and reminders
  - Emergency procedures and first aid
  - Effective communication with clients and families
- Demonstrate and supervise the performance of care techniques.
- Offer constructive feedback and guidance to trainees.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Assess the competence of HHAs through practical tests and observations.
- Provide individualized feedback to HHAs, identifying areas of improvement and strengths.
- Document training progress and outcomes.
Support and Mentorship:
- Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
- Answer questions and provide additional support as needed.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure that training adheres to state regulations and best practices in home health care.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and trainee performance.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [Your State].
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of home health care best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively demonstrate and teach hands-on care techniques.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for educating and empowering others.
Willing to train the perfect candidate

Working Conditions:

The training will take place over a 16-hour period, which may be split into two 8hour sessions.
Training may be conducted virtually through our virtual platform.
Physical ability to perform and demonstrate various caregiving tasks.
