Experienced Live-In Caregiver

** We are looking for experienced live-in caregivers to care for our clients in the Northwest Suburbs. 3 and 4-Day Live-in Shifts. We focus on matching the right caregiver to the right client for a long-term fit. We're good at it! **

Job Types: Full-time/Part-time

Experience: 2 year minimum required

Expected hours: 26-56 per week

Work location: In person

Responsibilities:

Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor appointments, walks, etc.)
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
Remind clients to take prescribed medication
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients ( when they are able)
Report any unusual incidents

Skills:

Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking

Proven experience as a caregiver

Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
