Registered Nurse – Pre-Admissions

Located at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and The Surgery Center of Greater Nashua, our board-certified surgeons, experienced nurses, and dependable support staff are dedicated to caring for you compassionately and safely. Our operating rooms and pre- and post-op areas in both facilities are designed with your safety, privacy, and comfort in mind.

About the Job:

As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the Pre-Admissions Registered Nurse cares for patients of all ages scheduled for surgical, invasive or non-invasive procedures requiring anesthesia. The RN uses informatics and technology to communicate, manage information, mitigate errors, and support decision making.

What You’ll Do:

Delivers nursing care by utilizing a patient-centered approach incorporating the Professional Practice Model
Provides patient-centered care through teamwork and collaboration to achieve quality patient outcomes.
Integrates best practices and current evidence-based practices for delivery of optimal health care.
Utilizes data to improve quality and safety.

Who You Are:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with Associate’s degree or higher
Ability to achieve the following competencies within 90 days:
- Conduct pre-procedure interview, Perform pre-procedure assessment, Provide pre/post-procedure specific education, Provide anesthesia education, Able to multitask and prioritize assignment and incoming information
