Nursing Assistants at Lakewood collect patient information, support patient medication schedule reminders, assist with meals and ensure each patient’s personal needs are met. They play a vital role as a liaison between our patients and their care teams. Patients depend on our CNAs and we’re looking to add another to our established team!

Sign On Bonus: $5,000
Responsibilities- Contributes to the assessment of the health status of patients.
- Perform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, charts, reports, etc., and submit these as may be required.
- Communicate patient information with care teams.
- Assist patients/families with meals or changing bed linens.
- Reports any changes in a patient's condition to the Charge Nurse.
- Must have ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse environment.
- Amongst additional responsibilities.
Qualifications- Certified Nursing Assistant or willing to obtain certification for the position within six (6) months.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to maintain high level of accuracy when documenting cares.
