This position supervises staff (RNs, LVNs and Medical Assistants) in multiple outpatient oncology clinics to ensure delivery of optimal care in compliance with departmental and organizational goals and objectives. This position will report to the Ambulatory Care Patient Manager (Nurse Manager, Multi-Specialty Clinic). This position also will provide and supervise clinical care at the expert level, ensuring patient safety and regulatory readiness. This position will provide staff development, coaching and performance management, recruiting and retention and lead or participate in performance improvement initiatives, under the oversight of the Nurse Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Will consider candidates who are currently enrolled in a BSN or higher nursing degree program.
Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of California.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant RN experience in oncology, ambulatory, and/or inpatient settings working with highly vulnerable patients.
Experience and proven success in skills to effectively supervise clinicians and to manage the complex workflow and multiple priorities involved with a clinic.
Strong knowledge of practice operations.
Strong ability to communicate proficiently orally and in writing, including competence and confidence in leading team meetings.
Excellent interpersonal and planning skills to interact with physicians and staff at various skill and licensure levels.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with patients and their families.
Compassionate caregiver with a holistic perspective of patient and family-centered care.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related area.
OCN.
One (1+) or more years working in a charge, supervisory, or management-level position in a large clinic and/or multi-specialty oncology environment.
Change management, team engagement, and performance management experience.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- This is a 363/365 days a year operation. Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and various locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $112,100 - $216,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $53.69 - $103.69
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
