Summary:

The Anesthesia Manager works directly with the Director of Anesthesia, Medical Director of Perioperative Services and the Medical Director of the Northeast Hospital. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administrative supervision of all CRNA staff, CRNA Coordinators and Clinical Coordinator. The Anesthesia Manager will collaborate with the Clinical Coordinator and the CRNA Coordinators at the Northeast Hospital and the Medical Center. The Anesthesia Manager will act as a liaison between the anesthesia staff, CCMC Nursing Administration, and CCPN, and will serve as administrative back-up for the department in the absence of the Anesthesia Director. Education: Masters degree preferred.Progressive management experience.Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.Pediatric experience preferred.Must have good personnel management, presentation and organizational skills. Certification/Licensure: Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Texas. Current certification and licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Texas. Certified or re-certified as a CRNA. AANA membership. Basic Life Support (CPR). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Advanced Life Support (ACLS).
