Penn Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a full time RN to join out Outpatient Ambulatory Infusion team. This position will work a consistent shift – option of five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days to equal 40 hours/week – Monday thru Friday. No weekends or holidays!

With this role, you will provide care and administer biotherapy, chemotherapy and blood products to oncology and non-oncology patients in the outpatient setting – handling of hazardous drugs is required. This role will monitor and manage symptoms and side effects of disease processes and treatment and work with patients that may range in age from early adult to geriatric.

Credentials:

Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
Basic Life Support Certification (required prior to first day of hire) required.
Registered Nurse - NJ (Required)
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License (required prior to first day of hire) required. National Nursing Certification preferred
Chemo- Biotherapy Certification within 6-months of hire; Oncology Nurse Certification within 2-years of hire

Education or Equivalent Experience:

Bachelor of Science Nursing (Required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing or in pursuit of a BSN. Related Work Experience: Greater than 15 months professional nursing experience. A registered nurse with an Associate’s Degree with greater than 5 years of clinical experience in a clinical specialty may be considered.
