Practice Detail: Exciting opportunity for a PA or NP to work with our Occupational Health program supporting a panel of patients. Urgent Care, Occupational Health, or Family Medicine experience preferred. 3+ years experience desired.
EMR System: EPIC
Facility: St Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton/Mercy Hospital, Oshkosh
Location: Neenah, WI

Responsibilities

Ascension-Wisconin is looking for a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner for our Occupational Health team. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension-Wisconsin to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights:

Flexible Part Time Schedule (Monday-Friday), with no call
Ability to perform minor outpatient procedures. In-Person and Virtual Visit Options

Responsibilities:

Obtains patient history/performs assessment. Orders, performs, interprets diagnostic procedures.
Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.
Provides counseling and education to patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Physician Assistant credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Orthopedic Physician Assistant preferred. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Education:

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

1 year of experience preferred.
