Principle Job DutiesThe successful candidate will have the ability to perform the following tasks:
- Developing and revising plan of care based on assessments data and individuals' outcomes.
- Implementing prescribed nursing interventions.
- Documenting timely, outcome based information.
- Administering prescribed medications as needed.
- Assisting in transporting individuals to medical appointments outside of the facility or to on-site clinics.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Will have a Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Utah.
- One or more years of professional experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred but not required
- One or more years of professional experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred but not required.

- Maintaining and updating patient charts, records, and information in an in-house computer program.
- Performing physical examinations and/or preventive health measures to assess and evaluate patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
- Coordinating clinical activities and follow-up.
- In-servicing direct care staff to assist individuals in taking medications through a self-medication program.
- Working with individuals with feeding pumps and administering medications through G & J tubes.

- Work requires physical exertion. May require the ability to stand; walk over rough surfaces; bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lb) with or without a reasonable accommodation, in a recurring manner and/or for long periods of time.
