Registered Nurse, Adolescent & Young Adult Inpatient Psychiatry

Position Highlights:

Position: Registered Nurse, Adolescent & Young Adult Psychiatry
Location: Highland Park Hospital
Full Time/Part Time: FT/PT
Hours: PM Shift 3p-11:3p or Night Shift 11:00p-8a
Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 FT PM/Night Shift or $5,000 PT PM/Night Shift
Required Travel: N/A

What you will need:

License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
Experience: Prior nursing or if new graduate nurse, CNA experience preferred

What you will do:

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for an inpatient adolescent and young adult psychiatry unit, serving patients age 12-22, during the PM and Night shifts
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel, such as mental health associates, in delivering psychiatric patient care
Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience
