Experienced Registered Nurse- Neonatal ICU Level III Katy

Job Summary

Collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. MHHS hires RNs based on years of experience groupings (i.e., newly licensed RN [working under the supervision of RN clinical preceptor], less than 1 year, 1-3 years, 3 to 10 and 10+).

MEMORIAL HERMANN KATY IS EXPANDING!

🌟With the news of our hospital expansion, the Katy NICU is looking for experienced Level III NICU nurses to join our team!🌟

If your child has a medical condition or is born prematurely, Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is equipped to provide specialized care to meet the baby’s special needs. All care is directed and monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by board-certified neonatologists and dedicated staff providing the services your baby may need.

The ideal candidate must have 3 or more years of NICU experience, Level III or higher. This role will be expected to function as a strong charge for our expanding unit AND will attend deliveries. Charge experience is highly preferred.

• Patient to Nurse Ratio: NICU (1-3:1)

• # of Beds (NICU) : 32 beds

• 12 bed of continuing care and 20 beds of level III

• Employees will float to Postpartum and Transition if needed

• Our NICU is distinguished CLABSI

• We are nominated for the innovation influencer award

• Candidates MUST have a BSN & NICU experience, level III/IV is HIGHLY preferred
