United Health Services is seeking a Staff Nurse Weekender Specialty Care - ICU to join our BGH Intensive Care Unit department at UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$37.45 - $59.38 per hour, depending on experience.
Overview
Weekender RNs will work Friday night through Tuesday morning working 4/8 hour shifts or 2/12's and an 8 or 3/12 Hour shifts each weekend while being paid for 40 or 44 hours. The goal of this program is to create predictable staffing schedules for weekend shifts. While nurses in this program can still pick up extra weekday hours, they will primarily work weekend shifts.
The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, and the alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response and through advocacy in the care of individuals and families. The RN is responsible and accountable for compliance to all standards of practice and professional development in accordance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services Hospitals and Nursing Division policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the Bill of Patient Rights. The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.
Qualifications
***Qualifed RN's will receive up to $15,000 sign on bonus***
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Preferred:
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing
Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
CPR within 3 months of hire
ACLS within one year of hire
PALS within one year of hire
Preferred:
CCRN
