Overview
Pediatrix Neonatology of Houston, an affiliate of Pediatrix Medical Group, is seeking an outstanding Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our practice at HCA Tomball, located in Tomball, TX, a thriving suburb of Houston.
Responsibilities
We are looking for experienced NNPs who want to be a part of a fantastic, stable group of 3 NNPs and 4 Neonatologists. An exceptional new graduate with significant NICU experience can also be considered
· 8 bed (overflow capacity up to 13 beds) Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with an average daily census of 3 NICU and 6-8 newborn patients.
· Over 1400 deliveries per year.
· Currently caring for patients > 28 weeks, with plans to become Level III NICU.
· NNPs see both NICU and well-newborn patients.
· A positive and collaborative environment is facilitated by a very supportive relationship between physicians and APRNs.
· 24/7 NNP coverage with on-call neonatologist at night.
· Flexible 24 to 72-hour shifts support an excellent work-life balance.
· Our physicians and APRNs use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care.
· Leadership, policy development, mentoring, educational, and quality improvement opportunities.
