About the Job:

Provides patient care at the direction of the RN or physician based on the patient’s needs and the care setting.

Performs technical nursing procedures according to standards, regulation and policies and procedures.

Assists with the collection of patient data, assists with the implementation of treatment, education and discharge plans.

Communicates and interacts with other team members to facilitate teamwork and multidisciplinary patient care.

Delegates to unlicensed providers and supervises assistive personnel.

Responsible for care delegated to him/her that falls within the scope of practice for the LPN in the state of Alabama.

REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of a School of Nursing

Licensed by the State of Alabama Board of Nursing as an LPN
