Licensed Practical Nurse - Patient Experience Educator - Education Center - (Branson)

Summary

Job Summary

The Patient Experience Educator will work closely with CoxHealth leadership to provide education specifically related to the patient experience during orientation and on an ongoing basis. This educator will work with employees of all levels of the organization, clinical and non-clinical, by providing education, coaching, resources, and encouragement related to the patient experience. Educational opportunities will be provided in a wide variety of settings and teaching methods. Educator will collaborate with other educators to assist with other educational endeavors to include patient experience across the educational spectrum. This educator may also assist the department with other nursing related teaching in addition to patient experience content.

Job Requirements

Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program
Experience
Required: At least 2 years previous nursing experience
Preferred: 3-5 years’ experience coaching evidence-based practices
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective leadership skills
Exhibit valuable time management skills
Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
Must be able to work independently
Must have strong computer skills especially within Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to present before large groups, engage leaders, and encourage development
Must be able and willing to cross-train, assist fellow employees, and be an effective team player
Collaborative, transparent, approachable, and passionate about the goal at hand.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
LPN license active in the state of Missouri
Must complete department specific certifications within the designated time frame
