Base Rate: $55/hr.

Job Summary and QualificationsOur Registered Nurses raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way. You have proven to be proficient as a registered nurse in the ED / ER and are now looking for a new way to sharpen your skills. As part of our elite RN Resource Float Pool, you will be lending your knowledge and experience to Emergency departments within Medical City hospitals. Meeting new colleagues, observing various techniques, and gaining experience at different facilities will add to the upward momentum of your RN journey. What You Will Do In This Role:You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient, following standards of care and disease specific protocols. You will plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN’s scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
You will provide education and emotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance and incorporate patient / family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
You will be a resource for our Medical City hospitals in the West Pod: Alliance, Arlington, Fort Worth, Las Colinas, North Hills, and Weatherford.
You will be at your assigned hospital for a duration of 12 weeks at a time.
What qualifications you will need:Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
Registered Nurse
Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
Must have at least 18 months of RN experience in an acute care hospital and 1-year in Emergency Room
