Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as an Admissions Coordinator. In this vital role, you will be responsible for coordinating referrals, managing the clinical aspects of admissions, and collaborating with the business development team to support census growth.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate referrals with Central Intake and ensure timely, appropriate admissions.
Complete the clinical portion of all new admissions, ensuring readiness and appropriate care planning.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a smooth transition for new residents.
Partner with the Business Development (BD) team to support census development and marketing strategies.
Build strong relationships with referral sources and community partners.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all federal and state regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa (or ability to obtain).
Experience in admissions, case management, or long-term care preferred.
Working knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Commitment to confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service.
