Responsibilities & Duties:

Assist Leadership: Work closely with the DON and ADON to oversee and direct the daily operations of the Nursing Department, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Ensure Compliance: Monitor nursing services to ensure staff adhere to job descriptions and high standards of care.
Participate in Inspections: Assist during facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies.
Daily Rounds: Conduct daily rounds to ensure nursing staff meet performance and care standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid RN License: Must hold a current RN license in the State of New Jersey.
Experience: At least 2 years of progressive nursing experience in Long Term Care, with a preference for those with managerial experience.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
