This rehabilitation nursing position earns a competitive salary of $22.00 to $23.50 per hour.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE (CMA)

As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), you will be led by our incredible, experienced Director of Nursing, LaShann Warfield. LaShann has been a leader at Parkway since 2012. She is an excellent mentor and educator, always available to work next to you on the floor whenever you need a hand.

Our #1 job at Parkway is to improve the quality of life for our residents. As a CMA, you work closely with residents and assist CNAs when they need help. You create the best living situation as we care for our elders who are nearing the end of their lives. Long story short, you change lives!

As a Certified Medication Aid (CMA), you play a vital role in our community. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose! You pass medications as prescribed by the physician. You provide direct care to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.

Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy for you to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and your colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE (CMA)

· Current Kansas CMA license.

· Current CPR certification

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations

· Desire to work with the elderly

Experience in geriatric nursing is preferred but not required. Are you trustworthy and respectful of others? Is being dependable, professional, and a team player at the heart of all you do? Do you enjoy serving and caring for seniors? Can you easily establish a good rapport with others and communicate effectively? If yes, you might just be the perfect fit for our team!

WORK SCHEDULE

This CMA position works 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends (Full-time or Part-time). Shifts are 6am-6pm OR 6pm-6am. PRN CMA is able to pick up 6 hr or 12 hr shifts.
