Key Responsibilities:
🩺 Deliver compassionate, high-quality care by administering medications through oral, injectable, and self-administered routes within your licensure scope.
🩺 Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, including physical and mental health evaluations, to support holistic client care.
🩺 Conduct psychiatric screenings and risk assessments (RN-specific duties as needed), helping guide clinical decisions and treatment planning.
🩺 Ensure accuracy and compliance by monitoring and documenting all medication administration in a timely, precise manner.
🩺 Review Medication Administration Records (MARs) regularly and maintain accurate medication counts to ensure safe and effective medication management.
🩺 Manage the full cycle of medication inventory, including tracking usage, coordinating refills, and preparing pass medications.
🩺 Support clients directly by assisting with medication-related needs and responding to questions with empathy and clinical expertise.
🩺 Room clients efficiently, gathering vital physical data such as vitals, height, weight, and lab samples.
🩺 Support lab processes through general laboratory duties and phlebotomy (performed by RNs or trained LPNs).
🩺 Champion wellness and prevention through infection control measures, hygiene education, and hands-on client support.
🩺 Act as a trusted clinical resource, fielding questions from staff and clients under the guidance of nursing leadership.
🩺 Lead or assist with safety planning and facilitate or co-facilitate nursing-led educational groups that empower clients in their care journey.
🩺 Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to support continuity and quality of care.
🩺 Engage fully with the care team, participating in required meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN)
Behavioral health or residential care experience preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Required License/Certification (one of the following):
