Responsibilities

Ascension Via Christi is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team here in Wichita, Kansas.

Position Responsbilities:

Join an amazing Cardiac Surgery team!
Endoscopic vein harvesting experience preferred.
Surgical experience is highly preferred.
Surgical schedule that does allow for some flexibility dependent upon cases.
Documents delivery of health care and processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network policy.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.

• Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience preferred.
