Job Overview
The Clinical Nurse (CN) II provides Family-Centered Care as demonstrated by r ecognizing the patient, family and/or designee as a full partner in providing compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for patient’s preferences, values, and needs. Assumes active role in clinical education of patients, families and staff. Functions effectively within nursing and inter-professional teams, fostering open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making to achieve quality patient care. Integrates best current evidence with clinical expertise for delivery of optimal health care. Uses data to monitor the outcomes of care processes and uses improvement methods to test changes to continuously improve the quality and safety of health care systems. Minimizes risk of harm to patients and providers through both system effectiveness and individual performance. Uses information and technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making.

Shift: Monday-Friday, Four 9 hour shifts with rotating day off. 7:45a-5:15p
Qualifications
EDUCATION – Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
EXPERIENCE – One (1) year of nursing experience. Preference given to those with 3+ years of clinical RN experience. Ambulatory nutrition/diabetes experience preferred, but not required.
EQUIVALENCY- Applicants with an Associate's Degree in Nursing and who agree to obtain a BSN within three (3) years from their start/hire date may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s Entry to Practice Nursing (MEPN) may substitute for a BSN.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S) – Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or RN license from multistate compact; BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least six (6) months left before expiration is required upon hire.

Salary Information
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $75,957.07 to $113,935.61
Hourly Salary Range: $36.52 to $54.78
