Responsibilities

We are looking for skilled RNs to join our combined Surgical Cardiac Progressive Care and Neuroscience unit at our downtown Fresno campus! In this 47-bed unit, you will care for a diverse patient population with various surgical cardiac and neuro comorbidities, including post-open heart, Left Ventricular Assist Device, Pulmonary Hypertension trauma, epilepsy, brain tumors, spinal injury, and more! You should be a self-motivated team player eager to learn and ready to contribute to the efforts of this close-knit team. As the region's flagship hospital, this USCF academic-affiliated facility is home to the only Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke and Comprehensive Burn Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento — serving as the area's "safety net provider" and covering nine counties. We are the only health system with the expertise and cutting-edge technology to handle the most challenging, complex cases in the Central Valley. This means that whether you are an experienced RN or newly graduated, you will have the opportunity to grow and advance at every corner!

Qualifications

Qualifications

Graduate of approved nursing program required
RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
