Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Columbus, MN
Position Type: Full-time, 24/25 School Year
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide support to students for the rest of the current school year. This position will involve assisting students with daily activities, supporting their mobility, and being present if medication needs to be administered.
Pay and Benefits:

$28-35 hourly

Key Responsibilities:

Provide immediate care for injuries, illnesses, and emergencies that occur during the school day.
Perform basic health screenings (vision, hearing, height, weight, etc.) and assess students’ overall health
Assist with managing chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies by monitoring students and providing treatment as prescribed (e.g., administering medications, using inhalers)
Administer prescribed medications to students during school hours, including daily medications or emergency medications
Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for students, including immunizations, medications, medical conditions, and treatments
Work with school administrators, teachers, and other staff to ensure the school environment supports the health needs of all students

Qualifications:

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Minnesota.
Previous experience in pediatric nursing or working with students with special needs is preferred.
Ability to handle medical emergencies and administer medications as required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and school staff.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a positive impact on the student’s educational experience.

Interview Process:

(10-15) minute screening call with a Soliant Education Recruiter
(20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview.
