Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a NURSE TECHNICIAN I to join ourteam!

Come gain hands-on experience to propel forward your RN student journey and help you prepare to take on your first RN position.

Work under the direct supervision of an experienced RN – some of the best around; nurses who truly care about enhancing the knowledge and success of our upcoming RN coworkers!

Aspirus Health begins Registered Nurse Internships three times throughout the calendar year at ALL Aspirus hospital locations in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

Nurse Intern Program

Aspirus is excited to invite student nurses to apply and gain hands-on experience by working one-on-one with an experienced nurse during the10-week programs.

DATES:

Summer Cohort – Starts in June - Deadline to apply is middle of May

Fall Cohort – Starts in August - Deadline to apply is last week of July

Spring Cohort – Starts in December- Deadline to apply is last week of November

WHO QUALIFIES:
ADN students who have completed at least 2 semesters and BSN students who have completed at least 3 semesters of the nursing program by the start of the internship.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

1:1 experience working with a registered nurse
Opportunities to enhance nursing skills
Increase understanding of nursing processes
Build critical thinking skills

HOURS:

10-week paid Internship, flexible, occasional status

While this is an occasional position, there is potential to work up to a .8 FTE to .9FTE.

Stevens Point has a variety of Nurse Internship positions available.
