Your role as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

As a new Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Pavilion at St. Luke Village, you can expect a dynamic and rewarding daily routine dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. Your day will involve administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing routine assessments to ensure each resident's health and comfort.

You will collaborate closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans that align with our values of trust and excellence. Your schedule will be full-time, covering either the 3pm to 11pm shift or the 11pm to 7am shift, with every other weekend included. This structure allows for continuity of care, as you build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

You will actively engage in communication with both staff and residents, fostering a supportive and energetic environment, making each day fulfilling and valuable.

Would you be a great Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN?

To thrive as a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Pavilion at St. Luke Village, you will need a blend of technical skills and interpersonal qualities. A current LPN license is essential, demonstrating your expertise in nursing practices and patient care.

In addition, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is crucial, ensuring you are prepared to respond effectively in emergencies. Beyond technical qualifications, successful candidates should possess strong communication skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and team members. Empathy and compassion are vital, as you will be caring for seniors with diverse needs.

Attention to detail is mandatory, particularly in medication administration and monitoring patient conditions. Additionally, proficiency with healthcare software is beneficial for maintaining accurate records and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Ultimately, a dedicated and proactive approach will empower you to excel in this fulfilling nursing role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Current LPN License and BLS Certification.
