Job Overview

Within the regulatory scope of practice, assist in the provision of direct patient care by performing routine patient care procedures, technical and clerical supportive services in the clinic setting.The M.A.III may administer intramuscular, subcutaneous or intra-dermal injections and may perform skin tests, administer oral medication, venipunctures and skin punctures for blood specimens.

Minimum Requirements

High School graduate or GED along with Medical Assistant diploma required.
California phlebotomist license, preferred.
Four or more years of experience preferred, inclusive of having 1year of experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.

Compensation

$24.00 - $28.15 hourly
