Full Time Registered Nurse PreOp

What we Offer

$15,000.00 sign-on bonus
Shift Differentials

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient interviews to gather complete medical history, including allergies, current medications, past surgeries, and family history.
Complete physical and verbal assessments before admission to identify any surgical concerns.
Order any pre-op tests needed, including blood work, EKGs, x-rays, etc.
Educate patients and families.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
Consistently review your charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure
Will cross train to PAT and PACU to assist as needed

Requirements:

Associates Degree
Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center preferred
Current State Registered Nurse License
Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS Certifications
