Job Title: Caregiver/Floater
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Caregiver/Floater to join our team. This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to manage a variety of clients and shifts. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care while working in various environments and adapting to the needs of different clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Be available to work any shift and serve any client as needed.

Provide coverage for callouts and unstaffed shifts, including availability every other weekend.

Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, fostering a respectful and empathetic environment for clients and colleagues.

Handle difficult situations with professionalism, poise, and patience.

Mentor other care professionals and offer guidance when necessary.

Be available for shifts without refusal, unless prior approval is given by the Director of Operations.

Start as a caregiver/floater for the first 30 days, adapting to different clients and environments.

Anticipate potential issues or needs, taking a proactive approach to avoid/minimize problems and enhance the quality of service.

Take responsibility for proactive training, continuously improving skills and knowledge.

Document all activities and care provided in WellSky accurately and promptly.

Bring solutions to the team when challenges or problems arise, collaborating to maintain high-quality care.
Qualifications:

Must be flexible and available to work various shifts, including weekends.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and handle various client needs with professionalism.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare-related field preferred.

Ability to mentor and guide other care professionals.

Excellent communication skills.

Experience using documentation systems (WellSky experience a plus).
