Full Time Registered Nurse - Skilled Nursing Unit, Evening Shift, 7:00pm - 7:00am

Northwest Florida Community Hospital (NFCH), in Chipley, FL, is seeking a FT experienced, energetic and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for our residents in support with medical Providers and staff, in our Skilled Nursing Unit!

The Skilled Nursing Unit RN provides professional direct and indirect resident care in an organized manner that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility with a minimal of supervision.

Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

Experience: One year Long Term Care experience.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:

Current registration to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse within the State of Florida. Current BLS and ACLS required. PALS recommended.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Possesses strong verbal communication skills; demonstrating ability to communicate with adult and geriatric age groups.
Management/Leadership skills, Customer Service Skills, Clinical Skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environment.
Ability to communicate and work closely with physicians
Ability to adapt to changing patient flow schedules.
Knowledge of EMR system(s) and documentation requirements.
Knowledge of patient confidentiality standards and requirements.
Strong team building skills.
