Pheasant Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation is looking for an experienced, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team in Roanoke, VA. About Pheasant Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation:

Pheasant Ridge is a trusted provider of senior healthcare services, specializing in post-acute care. Our offerings include short-term rehabilitation, transitional care, and specialized care for Alzheimer's and dementia. We are dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care that supports each resident's well-being, safety, and dignity.

Your Role as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

As a Full-Time LPN, you will be a key member of our healthcare team, providing hands-on care to our residents. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Monitoring patient health and administering medications
Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
Collaborating with healthcare teams to implement and adjust care plans
Communicating with residents and families, offering support and education about the care process
Ensuring that patient records are accurate and that safety protocols are followed
Working on a 12-hour shift schedule with rotating weekends, which provides a balanced work-life rhythm while ensuring comprehensive patient coverage

What We're Looking for in a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

To succeed as a Full-Time LPN at Pheasant Ridge, you should bring:

Active LPN license in the State of Virginia
Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and care management
Compassion and empathy for residents, especially seniors facing physical and emotional challenges
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with residents, families, and the healthcare team
Problem-solving abilities to respond quickly to changes in patient conditions
Organizational skills and the ability to manage responsibilities in a dynamic, high-performance setting
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork
