ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER - SPECIALTY CARE - OB CLINIC

St. Charles Hospital is a proud member of Catholic Health and is located on the north shore of Long Island in Port Jefferson, NY. St. Charles is renowned for its outstanding customer service and scored as one of the top hospitals on Long Island in the delivery of high quality care.

The non-profit hospital features three centers of excellence: Maternal/Child services, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. St. Charles also offers services in general surgery, colon/rectal surgery, bariatric surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, epilepsy, stroke care, Female Pelvic Floor Disorders Center, and a nationally accredited Sleep Disorders Center.

This is an exciting part-time opportunity to be an integral healthcare provider in a new OB clinic as part of a well-established multi-specialty clinic in an award-winning Hospital.

Job Details

APP-OB Clinic Responsibilities:

Supported by the St. Charles OB Hospitalist Group and Maternal Fetal Medicine, you will;
Examine and monitor women throughout their pregnancy
Perform abdominal and trans-vaginal ultrasound to monitor fetal growth
Educate patient’s on health management, prevention and hygiene
Perform prenatal in utero screens to monitor health
Help expectant mother to manage discomfort throughout her pregnancy
Other routine prenatal and postnatal care

APP-OB Clinic Requirements:

Prefer Woman’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) from certified program
WHNP that has passed a certification board exam
Prefer WHNP with employment experience in obstetrical care

Salary Range

USD $66.55 - USD $90.00 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
