Registered Nurse (RN), PACU, Full-Time Days

Position Highlights:

Position: Peri-Anesthesia/PACU RN
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Community Hospital
Schedule: Days, 3x12's

Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse will provide perioperative patient care.
Reviewing the patient chart by becoming familiar with orders including but not limited to lab orders and results, radiology orders and results, H & P’s and updates, consents
Explaining procedures/treatment/discharge to patient and family members to alley apprehension and to verify understanding of procedure/discharge.
Documenting patient assessment in the electronic patient record, and nursing care plan.
Administering prescribed medications.
Preparing Pre-OP/PACU – I and II for needed supplies and equipment
Maintaining awareness of patient’s safety needs at all times
Assisting with patient’s transfer of care from the OR

Requirements:

Basic Life Support
Registered Nurse
Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Minimum Experience: 2 years of Pre-Op/PACU experience

Compensation:

$37.00 - $42.55 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Bonus: $20,000 for RN's with 2 or more years of experience.
Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
