Job Description

Inova Cardiac Surgery Services is looking for a dedicated Cardiac Surgery RN Outpatient to join the team. This role will be full-time, day shift Monday- Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Work location: 8081 Innovation Park Dr., #800Fairfax, VA 22031

Job Responsibilities For The Cardiology Nurse Include

Patient education Answering patient questions pre- and post-surgery
Coordinating patient readiness and care throughout the clinic
Oversee clinical workflow and work collaboratively with team

Additional Requirements

Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience. Greater than one year of RN experience in addition to prior Cardiology Nursing background such as in IMCU, PCU, Tele, CVICU is preferred.

Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required

Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN

Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
