RN Case Manager Psych

Department: Psychiatric Unit
Work Hours: Full Time, primarily Days/Nights. Three 12 hour shifts per week. Every other weekend rotation, and rotating holidays.

This position is responsible for coordination and oversight of evaluations in the Emergency Department and admissions, discharge planning activities, coordinating referrals and aftercare services for patients.

Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Pennsylvania license. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. CPR certification. Must have a minimum of 3 years current experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Knowledge/ability to assess and utilize community resources.

Preferred: Previous experience with psychiatric case management. ANA certification as a psychiatric nurse.

* In the absence of qualified candidates in the above referenced areas, will consider applicants with Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Applicable training and orientation will be provided.
